Kicking off Easter, on March 30th guests will be treated to a vibrant Poolside Easter Festival. The enchantments continue into the night with a Beach Movie Night, creating an unforgettable Easter.

On March 31st, the joy continues on with a Beach EGGstravaganza. The beach day features an Easter Egg Parade and Egg Hunt for all the guests! Sheraton Maldives is also bringing an Easter Glow in the Dark Disco, creating magical memories under the star-lit sky. To end Easter on a memorable note, the resort is featuring an Easter Buffet Dinner. Guests are welcome to enjoy a feast around the world! The buffet dinner starts at USD 115 per person, and children below the age of 12 can enjoy the feast for free! Easter does not end just there! Keep the excitement rolling on the next day with the Easter Amazing Race. This activity is open for guests of all ages to enjoy the enthusiasm and adventure. The celebration continues with DJ Night, creating an electric atmosphere for guests to dance and enjoy.

Families are welcome to enjoy the week-long Easter celebrations at Sheraton Adventure Club from March 25 to 31st. Here, guests can enjoy DIY Easter Bunny, Hermit Crab Hunt, Egg Painting, Egg Drop Challenge and Hunt for the missing bunnies. There is also a little treat for art enthusiasts as the resort is also doing White Rabbit Canvas Painting.

Bringing in a touch of sustainability, Sheraton Maldives is also featuring a Recycled Fashion Show, an enchanting Magic Show and so much more.

Experience Culinary Artistry with Chef Kelvin at JW Marriott Maldives

The JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa will host a unique culinary event from November 17 to 19, 2024, with Chef Kelvin Cheung from Jun’s Dubai. The event, spanning three days, offers guests an immersive culinary journey against the stunning backdrop of the Maldives.

Renowned for his innovative third-culture cuisine, Chef Kelvin blends flavors from different culinary traditions. He has received recognition in the Michelin Guide Dubai, MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants, Gault & Millau UAE, and the title of What’s On Dubai’s 2024 Chef of the Year. At Jun’s, he has revolutionized the dining experience in the Middle East with his dedication to innovation and taste.

Speaking about this event, Chef Kelvin said,

“Food has always been about connection for me, whether bridging flavors, cultures, or people. I’m excited to bring my perspective on food and wellness to JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa, where we’ll explore flavors while focusing on sustainability and mindful eating.”

Chef Kelvin will work with the luxury resort to design special dining experiences that highlight sustainability for this event. The menus will showcase locally sourced ingredients, such as fresh produce from the resort’s JW Garden. They will also use zero-waste cooking techniques to create healthy dishes that promote wellness and inclusivity.

The culinary adventure begins on November 17 with a five-course dinner at Kaashi, the resort’s treetop restaurant. Guests will enjoy breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean while savoring dishes that blend Indian, Thai, and Chinese influences. Signature dishes will include Pani Puri, Tom Yum, and Char Siu Wagyu Short Rib, celebrating Chef Kelvin’s diverse heritage.

On the second evening, diners will have another five-course menu at the resort’s over water restaurant, Hashi/Shio. Each dish tells a unique story of global fusion, highlighting Chef Kelvin’s creativity and culinary expertise.

The final day features an interactive zero-waste cooking class at Aailaa, the resort’s all-day dining venue. In this class, guests will learn to craft delicious dishes while minimizing food waste. The focus will be on using fresh herbs and ingredients from the JW Garden.
