Maldivian Airlines Launches Throughfares, Connecting Domestic Network to International Destinations

Maldivian Airlines announces the launch of throughfares, a service connecting Maldivian’s 16 domestic points to its three international destinations, Dhaka, Bangalore and Colombo, starting from 04th April 2024.

Exclusively available on Maldivian’s network, throughfares will provide customers with the convenience of booking their entire journey, including the domestic and international segments, in a single itinerary. This streamlined process eliminates the hassle of booking separate tickets and ensures a smoother experience in travel planning for passengers.

Passengers traveling on Maldivian’s throughfares can enjoy up to a 5% discount and receive the same checked baggage allowance for the domestic and international sectors, providing greater accessibility and flexibility. Maldivian is committed to offering throughfares to all international destinations within its network, with the addition of Trivandrum and Cochin in the near future.

Throughfares can be booked from Maldivian’s sales channels including the airline’s website www.maldivian.aero, mobile application, ticketing office and sales agents.

In addition to this, the airline also revealed its new Southern connectivity. With this new update, travellers can now connect from Gan International Airport (GAN) in Seenu atoll and Kooddoo Airport (GKK) in Huvadhoo atoll twice weekly, from 29th October 2024.
