The Debut resort of Fari Islands, Ritz-Carlton appoints Nabeel Abdulla as their new Director of Sales pre-opening, commenced the new assignment on 16th March 2020. Nabeel brings in over 15 years of opening and launching of top-tier resorts and hotels experience in tourism industry.

Nabeel Abdulla, a Maldivian national from Addu Atoll started his career in the industry working in different areas such as front office and reservations roles at Six sense for Soneva Fushi and Soneva Gili. Later moving into Sales and Marketing. Filling the position as Sales and Marketing Manager at Huvafen Fushi by Per AQUUM in 2006 and the successful launching of the first IHG`s Hotel in Maldives.

Once after these successful ventures, in 2010 Nabeel moved to Anantara Kihavah Villas for the launching and establishment of the property in key international Markets.

Well known amongst the industry colleagues, and often described as one of the best in sales and marketing of the destination. Winners of Multiple awards within the tourism industry, Nabeel joins Ritz Carlton Maldives from the Small Maldives Island Co. where he was the Group Director of International Sales and Distribution who lead the team of Amilla Fushi and Finolhu Maldives for the past 07 years.

Marriott International announced the debut of Fari Islands, Ritz Carlton brand in Maldives to be open late 2020 with a 100-villa resort amid white sand beaches. In the recent press Fari Islands, Ritz Carlton also appointed Mafalda Costa Tavares as The Director of Sales & Marketing.
