Raffles Maldives Meradhoo has been scheduled to reopen on 1st October 2020 with elevated safety protocols and measures. AccorHotels, the resort’s managing company has taken cleaning standards even further by launching the ALLSAFE Cleanliness & Prevention Label.

ALLSAFE represents some of the most stringent cleaning standards & operational protocols in the world of hospitality. The ALLSAFE label verified by Clifton provides assurance that elevated cleanliness protocols and standards have been met in Accor properties. Some of these standards include:

  • Dedicated guest hotline to answer questions and to best prepare their stay
  • Social distancing enforced in all common areas
  • Contact-less check-in, check-out and payments carried out whenever possible
  • Sanitizers provided in key public areas. (front desk, elevators, restaurants, etc.)
  • Strengthened room cleaning protocols including extra disinfection of all high touch room and bathroom areas
  • Reinforced cleaning program in public areas with frequent disinfection of all high touch areas
  • Reinforced food safety standards and new protocols

The resort encompasses a main island and an overwater island. The main private island is home to 22 villas, including Raffles Residences, Beach Villas and Deluxe Beach Villas. It is also the home to the overwater Raffles Spa, the main pool, and a soft white sand beach. The overwater island boasts 16 villas, some facing east to greet the rising sun and others facing west to capture the magnificence of the Maldivian sunset.

Dusit Set to Expand its Presence in the Maldives with dusitD2 Feydhoo, Maldives!

Dusit Hotels and Resorts, the hotel arm of Dusit International has signed an agreement with Pearl Atoll Pvt Ltd to manage dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives. This new property is going to be a 125-key lifestyle resort on a private island near Malé. With this Dusit International will be expanding its portfolio of properties in the Maldives.

About the Upcoming Dusit Resort Maldives

Currently under construction and slated to open in 4Q 2024, the new resort will operate under Dusit’s upscale dusitD2 brand. In addition to being the second property in the Maldives, this will also be the company’s first ‘all-inclusive’ property.

In addition to spacious overwater villas and family suites, the lifestyle-driven resort will also boast a kids club. Guests can also explore multiple food and beverage outlets, a fully equipped gym, and a signature Namm Spa. Here, guests will have the chance to experience a wide range of Thai massage therapies and beauty treatments. Guests can also find three main private beaches to relax on. DusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives will also feature a smaller ‘picnic beach’ for memorable meals on the sands.

dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives Set to Be Located Near Male’

The resort is set to be based just five minutes away, setting it in close proximity to the International Airport. With this, guests can easily reach the new property in just five minutes by speedboat. The resort developers also unveiled their plans to open a resort-based entertainment hub and small convention centre catering to guests beyond the core resort experience. These will be announced at a later date and will also be managed by Dusit. Meticulous attention will be paid to ensure all resort elements seamlessly blend with the surrounding environment. Dusit’s group-wide sustainability programme, Tree of Life, will further solidify this commitment by implementing processes and systems that minimise environmental impact.
