Bandos Maldives Celebrates 52 Years of Luxury and Tradition

Bandos Maldives celebrates 52 years

This year, Bandos Maldives proudly celebrates its 52nd anniversary. For over five decades, the resort has been a symbol of exceptional hospitality. Guests from all over the world have experienced peace, relaxation, and the authentic charm of the Maldives. Bandos continues to be a top destination, offering a unique blend of tradition and modern luxury.

General Manager Ismail Rasheed reflects on the milestone with gratitude:

“Bandos Maldives has grown and evolved over the years, yet our heart remains the same. We owe our success to the loyal guests who continually choose Bandos as their home away from home and to our team, who embody the spirit of hospitality every day”

The Heart and Soul of Bandos

The resort’s success is due in large part to its loyal guests and talented staff. Bandos has formed strong connections with travelers who visit again and again to enjoy its serene beauty. Many of the resort’s team members are Maldivians, and their dedication plays a vital role in delivering the warm hospitality for which Bandos is known.

This year, Bandos Maldives has focused on exciting new developments. The resort launched a fresh website in November and is working on several renovation projects. These updates aim to enhance the guest experience while preserving the resort’s authentic charm. Sustainability is also a priority, with solar power initiatives reinforcing Bandos’ commitment to responsible tourism.

A Premier Island Destination

Bandos Maldives offers guests easy access to a peaceful retreat, just 10 minutes from Velana International Airport. The resort sits on a beautiful 18.66-hectare island in North Male’ Atoll, surrounded by turquoise waters and pristine coral reefs. Since opening its doors over 50 years ago, Bandos has earned its place as a top destination in the Maldives.

Bandos Maldives offers a wide range of facilities to suit every guest. It features 220 rooms, three lively bars, four restaurants, and the tranquil Orchid Spa. For those seeking an active vacation, the Clubhouse sports complex offers beach volleyball, tennis, steam baths, a sauna, and a modern fitness suite. Dive Bandos, one of the Maldives longest-established dive centers, provides guests with exciting and safe underwater adventures.
