Award-winning French DJ, record producer and songwriter David Guetta is spending his holiday in the Maldives.

Award-winning French DJ, David Guetta is holidaying in the Maldives. The famous record producer and songwriter posted on his official Instagram account, a photo of him enjoying the sea in the Maldives.

He shared the photo on Instagram with his 8.6 million followers. Likewise, the photo has garnered over 500,000 likes. Many fans have shown their love for the famous DJ with a flood of compliments. Dutch DJ Nicky Romero commented on the post ‘Shredding’.

David Guetta referred to the Maldives as ‘Paradise’ on his Instagram post. He has racked up over 50 million record sales. Meanwhile, the French DJ’s total number of streams is over 10 billion. Furthermore, David Guetta is universally accredited with being one of the first DJs to open the world of electronic music to global chart audiences.

His top hits include ‘Hey Mama’ featuring Nicki Minaj & Bebe Rexha, Titanium from his album ‘Nothing but the Beat’. The album includes collaborations with artists from R&B, Hip-hop and pop including; Lil Wayne, Taio Cruz, Nicki Minaj, Ludacris, Snoop Dogg, Afrojack, Chris Brown, Flo Rida, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Dev, Timbaland, Jessie J and Sia.

The French DJ has won two Grammy Awards, an American Music Award, and a Billboard Music Award. Additionally, he has also won various International Dance Music Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards, NRJ Music Awards and even one Teen Choice Award. Moreover, In 2011 & 2020, Guetta was also voted as the number one DJ in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll.

In addition to David Guetta, several celebrities have chosen the Maldives as their holiday home. Last year, Columbian Singer, Shakira spent her holiday in the Maldives as well. Meanwhile, this month several Love Island stars have spent their vacation in the Maldives.

Redbull-sponsored freestyle football legend Séan Garnier recently took over Kandima Maldives, surprising football fans on vacation. During a fun-filled beach event, vacationers got to play short one-on-one games with Garnier. Additionally, Garnier also pulled out some major tricks, bringing contagious energy to Kandima Maldives.

Kandima Maldives appears to be a favourite spot for Séan Garnier and his family, as this is not the first time he has stayed at this beautiful resort destination. Promoting his one-on-one game and tricks, Garnier stated that Kandima Maldive is the most beautiful island in Maldives. Just a few years back, in 2019, Garnier brought his family on a little getaway to Kandima Maldives. Sharing pictures on Instagram, Garnier thanked the resort for an awesome week of vacation.

Even during his 2019 trip, Garnier took some time to play one-on-one matches with the resort staff in addition to partaking in the ice-bucket challenge. The ice-bucket challenge was popularised during this time, to raise awareness around amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

In addition to his stay in Kandima Maldives, Séan Garnier has also performed in the Maldives back in 2011. As the first world champion of Redbull Street Style Soccer, Garnier performed in various parts of the Maldives. This included the Greater Male’ Area, Alif Alif Atoll Rasdhoo and the Dhiraagu Road Show. During this visit, Garnier was joined by Andreas Cetkovic, Champion of France 2010.

The French-born, freestyle soccer expert embraced the urban art of freestyle football after following his ambition to become a professional footballer. Quickly finding his groove, Garnier was crowned the World champion at the first Redbull Street Style World Finals in Brazil in 2008. Since then, Garnier has been a fan-favourite when it comes to freestyle tricks.
