For tourists visiting the Maldives, a visa is granted on arrival for all nationalities. Ensure you have a passport with at least 1 month validity, a complete travel itinerary with return tickets and hotel booking, proof of financial means, and fill the Traveller Declaration via IMUGA within 96 hours of the flight. Transit travelers don’t clear Maldives immigration. Entry is determined by immigration officers upon arrival, as per The Maldives Immigration Act 2007.
The Maldives is a fantastic destination year-round, however, for ideal weather conditions, the best time to travel is from December to March. During these months, you can enjoy dry and sunny days, making it perfect for exploring the stunning beaches and vibrant underwater life. Keep in mind that even during other months, the Maldives offers a unique and enchanting experience, so it remains a great destination throughout the year.
