Maldivian Announces New Route to Colombo, Starting April 25th!

Maldivian Airlines announces the commencement of its highly anticipated services to Bandaranaike International Airport, Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The new route to Colombo is set to start on April 25th 2024, with ticket bookings available from February 29th. Travellers can book tickets from the airline’s website, mobile application as well as the ticketing office.

As part of its commitment to convenience and flexibility, Maldivian Airlines will operate two weekly flights to Colombo. The flights will depart from Maldives every Thursday and Saturday. This schedule was signed to cater to leisure as well as business travellers, providing options for weekend trips. The passengers will additionally have options to connect to Maldivian’s domestic network of 16 different destinations with convenient connections!

We have long waited to serve Colombo and bring both Maldives and Sri Lanka closer on busines and leisure. This marks an expansion of our international network and our commitment to connect Maldives to the world. Just last week the Airline also made an exciting announcement with discounted prices to Bangalore! With tickets starting at $196, travellers can now explore India as well as Sri Lanka with ease. Additionally, Maldivian also made travel more affordable for surfers in the Maldives. The airline recently announced discounted prices on surf bags for its passengers.
