At the opening of International Maldives Travel Market, Maldives’ Tourism Minister, Dr Abdulla Mausoom emphasized his confidence that IMTM will open new avenues for stakeholders in the tourism industry.
IMTM 2020 is running from 16th November 2020 to 17th November 2020. Speaking at the opening of the biggest travel market in the Maldives, Minister Dr. Abdulla Mausoom declared platform will help stakeholders in the industry to share experiences, tell stories and also enable the networking opportunities for stakeholders to promote and engage in tourism.
We are determined to revive our tourism industry and the spirit of cooperation is high among our stakeholders. Our combined efforts in this regard have resulted in a gradual increase in tourist arrivals since our borders were open in mid-July.

Furthermore, the tourism minister thanked the IMTM team inviting him to the initiative. He added that IMTM 2020 will assist to connect the entire industry and the participants representing. Likewise, Minister said virtual engagement will surely play an important role in the Revival of the tourism.
