As part of Elite Traveler’s annual list, The Muraka Suite was named amongst the 10 most expensive hotel suites in the world. 

The Muraka suite is the first underwater residence in the world. ‘Muraka’ in the local language means ‘coral’. Hence, the word ‘Muraka’ fits the suite all too well. 

The suite offers two-levels of accommodation with a spiral staircase connecting both the levels. The lower level is the master bedroom, featuring a living area and a bathroom 16ft below the ocean’s surface. The upper level features two bedrooms, living room, a gym as well as a kitchen, a bar and dining area. The gorgeous suite also features an infinity pool and a large deck perfect for relaxing. In addition to all these amenities, the Muraka also comes with an on-call personal trainer, spa therapist, butler and private chef services. 

Conrad Maldives is located in South Ari Atoll, a 30-minute seaplane journey away from Velana International Airport. The award-winning resort offers a total of 150 villas and suites, 12 dining venues and two spas.
