Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa announced that the resort vaccinated all 320 staff members against the COVID-19 virus.

Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa announced that the resort vaccinated all 320 staff members. The Most Picture-Perfect Hotel in the World also revealed that staffs are serologically tested for COVID-19 every 10 days.

Staff members at Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa will still wear face masks at all times. The luxury resort says this is to promote the safest environment possible. Hence, allowing guests to experience the luxury of travelling again.

By the end of May 2021, 65% of employees in the Maldives’ tourism industry has been fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus. According to the Ministry of Tourism, 95% of Employees in the industry have also received the first dose of the vaccine by the end of the month.
