In celebration of the holiday season, this year Jumeirah Vittaveli plans a ‘Fire and Ice’ themed fiasco. Exciting live entertainment, exquisite gala dinners and excess variety for guests of all ages! Festivities will commence on 22nd December and will happen throughout until the Russian holiday on the 6th of January 2017.

Events will begin on the 22nd of December with the Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Live acts will recur consecutively over the whole duration of the season, keeping the festive spirit up. Entertainment is set for all types of guests, families or even couples can enjoy the delights of the string band, have a dance off to the DJ’s set moods on the beach, admire the creativity of the resort’s resident sand artist as the holiday themed sand images and sculptures are displayed, or for the thrill loving guests, watching the fire dancers perform the Art of Poi with flames dancing in the air.

A special treat for the younger guests would be Santa visiting to deliver their presents. The children’s ‘Kuda Koli Kids Club’ on the island have organized a number of holiday related activities such as the Kuda Koli Olympics or building a festive tree using ice cones! The end of the year 2016 will come to a draw with a spectacular firework display and a picture perfect New Year’s day in the Maldives.
