InterContinental Maamunagau Maldives Resort has received recognition from the Haute Grandeur Excellence Awards. Haute Grandeur honored the resort as; Best Resort Service on a Global Level, Best Luxury Hotel in the Indian Ocean, Best Resort Hotel in the Indian Ocean, and Best Beach Resort in the Maldives.

The Haute Grandeur Global Hotel Awards, established as an independent and unbiased initiative aims to honor the highest achievements from the global hotel industry. The Awards hold significance as the pinnacle of achievement in global hospitality.

Maamunagau has received a number of accolades before. The resort won recognition as “The Favourite Romantic Hotel (International)” by Conde Nast Traveller (Middle East). Prior to this role, Nisham served as the Financial Controller at Oaga Art Resort, where he played a key role in enhancing the resort’s financial structure. Additionally, his previous positions at Amilla Maldives and Anantara Kihavah Villas further highlight his skill in managing finances at high-profile luxury properties.
