Luxury boutique resort in the North Ari Atoll, Kandolhu Maldives is reopening on 1st October 2020. Kandolhu is the home to one of the most colorful and lively house reefs in the Maldives. The resort’s operator Universal Resorts announced extensive safety measures in order to ensure guests can fully enjoy their holidays.

Universal Resorts Safety Measures

At Kandolhu Maldives and Universal properties in the Maldives, the safety measures are based on the recommendations of the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives. According to the resort, these measures are the best practices within the industry presently. Furthermore, Kandolhu will regularly review the procedures and post any changes on the resort’s website.

Universal Resorts is using enhanced cleaning and sanitation procedures. Likewise, Universal will appropriately use disinfectants and specific chemicals dedicated to individual surface types in all of its properties. Meanwhile, social distancing measures will be clearly communicated and implemented in public areas and facilities, dining facilities, and on excursions at the resort. In addition to that, while in the resort, guests are advised to wear face masks in enclosed spaces.
