Set in the Indian Ocean and surrounded by crystal blue waters lapping against pure white sandy beaches, One&Only Reethi Rah is an ideal destination for tourists visiting the island nation. As part of the Resorts health and safety procedures, they are happy to announce that they have begun the process of vaccinating their staff in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Health.
As of 19 February 2021, the Resort began the official vaccine drive offering all frontline colleagues the opportunity to receive their first dose. This process will continue until all colleagues that have requested to be vaccinated are vaccinated. Following the guidelines set by the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Tourism, the Resort hopes to vaccinate all colleagues when possible.
As one of the first resorts in the Maldives to being this process, they are looking to vaccinate as many of the front of house colleagues as possible and look forward to other resorts following suit.
As the world around us has changed and we learn to live in the new normal, I am delighted that our colleagues have the opportunity to protect themselves even more through this vaccination drive. I express my gratitude to the Ministry of Tourism, the Health Protection Agency and the Government of the Maldives for their continued support and fantastic approach to this pandemic.Jan B.
