Finolhu Maldives: Unparalleled Vibrance for Colour Blind Guests!

Something many of us take for granted during our travels are the vibrant colours we get to experience.

From the hues of blue to the shades of green, Maldives is a destination where the colours cannot be captured in photos. There is, however, one resort in the Maldives that takes the vibrant colours to the next level. Seaside FInolhu Baa Atoll brings a kaleidoscope of colours to guests in every aspect of the resort’s layout. From the vibrant culinary delights to the beautiful reefs and even the interior.

Every corner of Finolhu Maldives has a beautiful shade of colour that can only be experienced with your own eyes.

Upon arrival, one of the first things guests would take note of is the uniquely beautiful colour of the ocean. The resort has so many hues and shades of life to share with its guests. And Finolhu Maldives has taken a unique step towards inclusivity at the property. Just last year, Finolhu Maldives became the first Maldivian hotel to offer glasses for colourblind guests.

The Maldives, and Seaside Finolhu, are arguably two of the most breathtakingly beautiful and colourful places on Earth. I’m a divemaser and have been SCUBA diving for most of my life, so I can appreciate how much more spectacular and special it will be for color blind divers to experience the amazing array of vibrant colours the ocean has to offer. We are also thrilled that color blind guests will be able to experience more colour when they are not diving by borrowing our glasses at the resort, says Erik Ritchie, CEO of EnChroma.

The vibrant island destination offered guests EnChroma sunglasses and snorkel masks to colour-blind guests. This allows colourblind guests to not only experience the colourful art and architecture of Finolhu but also experience the shades underwater. Baa Atoll is renowned for having some of the most vibrant coral reefs and marine life. With the EnChroma snorkel masks colour blind guests can finally explore the colours under the waters in the Maldives. For the very first time!

This new world of possibilities is open for adults as well as kids on the resort.

MMPRC showcases the Maldives’ efforts to maintain its natural beauty through sustainable practices. Eco-friendly resorts and marine conservation programs continue to attract environmentally-conscious travelers.

MMPRC also emphasizes the Maldives’ commitment to sustainability in tourism. The country’s green initiatives resonate with travelers from the UK, where eco-conscious trends are on the rise. This focus helps the Maldives stand out as an attractive destination for responsible tourism.
