01. Who is Your Favourite Artist?

Hi, my name is Frederic. Im the General Manager of the Hard Rock Hotel Maldives. This American band called Red Hot Chilli Peppers is certainly one of my favourite bands. I’ve listened to them, actually, I still do, as a matter of fact, over the past probably 25, if not more, 30 years, actually.

02. How Were You Introduced to The Hard Rock Brand?

I’ve been to Hard Rock Cafes’ in various locations I’ve worked in. So I’ve always had this connection, let’s put it that way, with music as well as Hard Rock. And when the opportunity came to work in a Hard Rock Hotel, that certainly triggered some sort of interest. And it’s a pleasure, of course, to work at the Hard Rock Hotel, where music is clearly engraved in the DNA of the company and the hotel. And there’s music pretty much everywhere you go. Including under the main pool of the hotel. So it’s a great position to be in.

03. Can You Tell Us About the Sustainability at Hard Rock Hotel?

Sustainability is very high on the agenda of CROSSROADS.  The development that Hard Rock Hotel Maldives is part of. Therefore, I certainly want to enhance and continue in the direction that was set from the construction stage, from the design stage, I should say of the hotel and the resort.

04. What’s Your Favourite Part of Working in The Maldives?

My favourite part of working in the Maldives is certainly working with the Maldivian people. I think their sense of hospitality and generosity is truly unique and that’s what makes my day every day.

05. What’s Your Favourite Location at Hard Rock Hotel Maldives?

My favourite location is most likely very close to where we’re standing now. It’s a little sandbank just on my righthand side actually, where the view over the sunset is absolutely stunning. I’ve seen a few sunsets, some beautiful islands. But this one I have to say is absolutely tremendous. So this is where we invite guests in the evening to enjoy music, of course, because we’re Hard Rock Hotel, as well as wonderful celebrations and absolutely lovely sunsets.
