Over the years, with each new position, he has gained invaluable experience in sales coordination, international account management, and sales leadership, honing his ability to design impactful strategies, engage with clients, and foster meaningful connections. Moreover, these skills are central to his work at Oaga, where he continues to lead efforts to promote the resort through unique trade show events, targeted partnerships, and customized offerings that highlight its distinct combination of luxury and local Maldivian art.

Hospitality group Atmosphere Core has promoted Michel Politano to Senior Vice President Commercial, giving him responsibility for leading the company’s commercial strategies across its global portfolio. In his new role, Politano leads a team of over 60 professionals and directs distribution efforts for upcoming projects and the brand’s international expansion. Originally from France, Politano launched his career in Europe before moving to Dubai, where he built a strong reputation for his expertise in distribution and sales leadership. Moreover, throughout his career, he has united multicultural, multifunctional teams by rallying them around common goals.

With more than 20 years of experience, Politano brings deep expertise across all areas of commercial operations — from revenue generation and digital marketing to strategic problem-solving and business development. As a result, he has earned a reputation for building agile and effective strategies in dynamic markets.

Since joining Atmosphere Core in 2022, Politano has based himself in the Maldives, where he oversees revenue management and distribution for the group’s entire portfolio. He combines sharp commercial insight with emotional intelligence, which allows him to embody the company’s culture naturally. During his time with Atmosphere Core, he has introduced new systems, streamlined processes, and, importantly, driven record-breaking revenue growth. Colleagues also praise his ability to create clarity amid complexity and to unite teams behind a shared vision.
