The Ritz-Carlton has appointed Dan Drebing as the new Director of Food & Beverages, pre-opening the debut resort of Fari Islands. He brings in nearly 13 years of experience in hospitality industry, specializing in food and beverages.

Dan Drebing is not new to the luxury brand as he joined the group during late 2007 as an F&B Server. His passion and hard work has paved his way up the corporate ladder to the role of the Director of Food and Beverages.

He grew within the 10 years working for the company before he moved to W Maldives for over 02 years. With strong Marriott knowledge and expertise in the field, Dan commenced his new role on 15th April 2020.

His initial experience with the brand started as an F&B Sever for The Ritz-Carlton Abama. Then got promoted to supervisor and subsequently given the opportunity to take up his first managerial role. His experience with the the brand is impeccable.

Since his first managerial post at The Ritz-Carlton Abama, he rose through ranks with the brand. He has experiences in various positions at multiple properties of The Ritz-Carlton across the world. The Ritz-Carltons at Powerscourt, Pert, Abu Dhabi Grand Canal, Kapalua and Langkawi are some of the places he has worked at.

Originally from Germany, Dan is a passionate and humble person to be around. He is also a certified CrossFit Level 01 Trainer and a wanderlust traveler.

Marriott International announced the debut of Ritz Carlton brand in Maldives, Fari Islands to be open late 2020 with a 100-villa resort amid white sandy beaches. In the recent press, The Ritz-Carlton appointed Nabeel Abdulla as The Director of Sale.
