Size? The 1 Bedroom Water Retreats go 584 sqm./6,286 sqft. Meanwhile, the 2 Bedroom Water Retreats at 857 sqm./9,224 sqft. The spacious interiors and exterior living spaces give guests more to love. Thus, making them perfect for families as well. Moreover, each of the rooms in the Water Retreats can be sealed off. And the doors out onto the deck can be locked as well. In addition to that, the children’s room located at the back of the master bedroom is child-friendly and suitable for young Soneva guests of all ages.

As for the price, the starting price for the new Water Retreats at Soneva Fushi is USD 2,626 +++ per night for the 1 Bedroom Water Retreat with Slide. And USD 5,232 +++ per night for the 2 Bedroom Water Retreat with Slide.

Different from the iconic Water Retreats at Soneva Jani, these new overwater villas at Soneva Fushi are not whitewashed. Hence, the browns of the natural and sustainable wood panels are visible through the interior finishing. Furthermore, the 2 Bedroom Water Retreats have both bedrooms on the ground floor. Meanwhile, the pool moves to the front of the pool deck, now remaining suspended over the ocean.

Maldives Takes Home Wins at World Travel Awards 2024!

Maldives is yet again taking home coveted awards at the World Travel Awards (Indian Coean Category), at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2024. The award show which is being held at Dubai World Trade Center from 6th to 9th May recognises and rewards excellence in travel and tourism. The Maldives also won some of these categories at the 2023 World Travel Awards. Last year the Maldives won the Indian Ocean’s Leading Destination 2023 title. Additionally, the country also won the Indian Ocean’s Leading Beach Destination 2023 and the Indian Ocean’s Leading Dive Destination 2023. Two of these titles have been won by the Maldives since 2020. This year, however, the Indian Ocean’s Leading Beach Destination was won by the beautiful Seychelles. In addition to the Maldives, Mauritius, Madagascar, and Reunion Island competed for this title.
