This Eid Al-Fitr, CROSSROADS Maldives offered a unique celebration, inviting visitors to enjoy the perfect blend of traditional Maldivian culture and modern luxury at its two world-class resorts: SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton and Hard Rock Hotel Maldives. The resort’s vibrant festivities created lasting memories for all, combining spiritual reflection with exciting entertainment in a stunning tropical setting.

A Festive Start to Eid: The Koadi Parade and Cultural Immersion

Eid Al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, a time for deep reflection. CROSSROADS Maldives captured this spirit beautifully. First, the festivities began with the lively Koadi Parade, a grand procession starting at Sessions Beach at Hard Rock Hotel Maldives and making its way to SAii Beach Club. Guests watched in awe as Maali dancers, dressed in vibrant Maldivian attire, swayed to the rhythm of Boduberu drumming. This lively display brought the island’s cultural heritage to life, inviting both locals and visitors to join in the joyous celebration of tradition. Most importantly, the parade set the tone for the rest of the day’s events.

Unforgettable Experiences: Activities and Entertainment for All Ages

At SAii Beach Club, the resort kept guests entertained throughout the day with a variety of exciting activities. For instance, they participated in Aqua Zumba, Pool Volleyball, and Water Polo, enjoying the water-based events in a relaxed yet energetic atmosphere. Additionally, families gathered at the Family Pool Party, where lively music and entertainment created an upbeat atmosphere. Thrill-seekers, on the other hand, joined the Amazing Race Games, adding an adventurous touch to the day. As the evening approached, guests savored a delicious Eid buffet by the beach, all while listening to the soulful tunes of the V’Nez Band. The combination of flavors, music, and the beachside setting made for an unforgettable experience. Furthermore, it created a perfect ending to a day filled with fun and cultural immersion.

Across the bridge, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives added its unique energy to the celebrations. Guests took part in exciting pool games and refreshing Aqua Aerobics sessions. As night fell, they enjoyed the tranquil Eid Sundown Ritual, a moment of reflection as the sun set over the horizon. The evening, therefore, culminated with a sumptuous Seafood Buffet Dinner at Sessions, where live entertainment kept the festive mood alive well into the night.

A Complete Eid Experience: Market, Music, and Memories

On 4th April, the Marina@CROSSROADS hosted a lively Street Market. Guests explored a variety of stalls offering delicious food, refreshing drinks, unique art souvenirs, and more. The market created an inviting atmosphere for visitors to discover the vibrant culture of the Maldives and take home a special memento from their trip. As a result, it offered an enriching experience beyond the festivities at the resorts.

With its combination of cultural traditions, luxurious amenities, and engaging activities, CROSSROADS Maldives provided the ideal destination for a memorable Eid celebration. Guests created lasting memories, whether they sought spiritual reflection, thrilling adventures, or peaceful relaxation. Ultimately, the resort ensured an unforgettable Eid experience for everyone.
