Luxury leisure destination, Crossroads Maldives’ resorts have won multiple awards the 14th Annual World Luxury Hotel Awards.

Crossroads Maldives’ renowned resorts, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives and SAii Lagoon Maldives have won multiple awards at the 14th Annual World Luxury Hotel Awards.

Hard Rock Hotel Maldives and SAii Lagoon Maldives at Crossroads Maldives took the top awards in the ‘Luxury Brand’ category. And Hard Rock Hotel Maldives took the award in the global category. Meanwhile, SAii Lagoon Maldives won the award in the continental category.

The acclaimed restaurants and spas lead the way in spa and restaurant category. Rock Spa at Hard Rock Hotel Maldives won the award in ‘Luxury Spa Retreat’ in the continental category. Furthermore, Lèn Be Well at The Marina received the award in the regional category.

Additionally, in the restaurant category, The Elephant & Butterfly at Hard Rock Hotel Maldives added another award to its list. The restaurant won the ‘Luxury Resort Restaurant’ award in the continental category. Moreover, the Miss Olive Oyl took the continental award for ‘Mediterranean Cuisine’.

Crossroads Maldives opened in late 2019 and features two lifestyle hotels; Hard Rock Hotel Maldives and SAii Lagoon Maldives – Curio Collection by Hilton. Both of these resorts offer direct access to extensive facilities at The Marina @ Crossroads. The marina is an 800-metre lifestyle area and beach walk featuring retail, entertainment and dining outlets.

The facilities at this marina include; a 30 berth quay, complete with world-class⁠ amenities and exclusive concierge services⁠, the Junior Beach Club and Camp, the Crossroads Event Hall, Maldives Discovery Centre, and also a Marine Discovery Centre (the project’s environmental and educational hub).

Dubai has opened a new 300-metre bridge connecting Sheikh Zayed Road to the Mall of the Emirates, marking a significant step in easing traffic congestion in one of the city’s busiest areas. According to Time Out Dubai, this bridge forms part of a larger Dh165 million project aimed at improving traffic flow around the Al Barsha area, home to the Mall of the Emirates. As a result, the new transport link will help ease congestion and offer faster access to one of Dubai’s most iconic malls, which attracts over 40 million visitors annually.

The opening of this bridge represents another key milestone in Dubai’s ongoing efforts to improve its infrastructure and ensure smoother travel for both residents and tourists. Moreover, the project includes upgrades to pedestrian and cycling lanes, enhancing safety and convenience for all.
