CROSSROADS Maldives Supports NEOC's Efforts in Fighting COVID-19

CROSSROADS Maldives has donated 06 buggies for the operations of Rapid Response Team of the National emergency operation center.

CROSSROADS Maldives has donated 06 buggies for the operations of Rapid Response Team of the National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC). The Ministry of Tourism took upon the task of delivering the buggies from the integrated multi-island destination to Male’ City.

The Ministry of Tourism took it to twitter to disclose the news thanking Hardrock Maldives and SAii Lagoon Maldives for their support. The Ministry of Tourism has been working with the government of Maldives in extending their efforts to combat the ongoing crisis.

In addition to facilitating the use of luxury resorts as quarantine facilities, the Ministry of Tourism has been providing aid in numerous ways while working towards the repatriation of tourists stranded in Maldives.

CROSSROADS Maldives is the first multi-island integrated leisure and lifestyle resort destination in Maldives. Located just a 15-minute speedboat journey away from Velana International airport, Phase one of CROSSROADS Maldives features two luxury hotels, SAii Lagoon Maldives and Hard Rock Hotel Maldives. This includes Velaa Private Island and Cocoon Investment’s generous help donating protective gears as well as other healthcare equipment recently. With major part of the Maldives’ economy depending on tourism, the unified support and aid is much needed to overcome the situation.
