Maldives Marketing and PR Corporation (MMPRC) has participated in the Deluxe Travel Market, Ukraine edition on 6th October 2020. The one-day travel market is attended by top agents in the region.

According to MMPRC, The main aim of participating in the Deluxe Travel Market is to give the most updated destination information. Furthermore, the market provides information regarding the changes in the travel guideline to the travel trade of Ukraine. The agents participating in the travel market include top travel professionals and tourism-related companies from Ukraine. Likewise, these agents cater to VIP clientele, specializes in FIT, MICE, and Business Travel.

Participating in the Deluxe Travel Market gives the destination an opportunity to present the latest news and updates to the travel guidelines through individual online appointments with the top travel agencies from Ukraine.

Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation said.

The Russain market is a traditionally strong market to the Maldives. With the borders reopening, Russian market still remains among the top markets with the most number of arrivals to Maldives. In this regard, several marketing campaigns are ongoing for the Russian market by MMPRC. Such as; the E-Learning Platform with Profi+Travel, advertising on 360 TV channel of Russia, a combined campaign with Travelata, Sletat.ru, and Squizz.

With several activities currently conducted in key markets, MMPRC also has initiatives in the pipeline for Russian Market. Activities in other markets include; the global campaign with CNN, Integrated webinar sessions in China, campaign with FVW in German-speaking markets, participating in SATTE GenX virtual exhibition, a campaign with Travel Weekly targeting the UK market, a campaign with wedding sutra targeting honeymooners in India, Radio campaign targeting the Indian market, an outdoor campaign in the UK and South Korean Market.

With several initiatives to market the destination in Russia & CIS region, the arrivals from the Russian market shows a positive growth.
