Oaga Art Resort Appoints New Island Chief Katheeb & Resort Manager

Oaga Art Resort announces the promotion of two key members of its team!

The resort announced the appointment of Samee Saeed as Island Chief Katheeb, and Nazim Mohamed (Naadhu) as Resort Manager.

Samee Saeed

Samee Saeed’s journey began in the hospitality industry in 2006 as a Welcome Ambassador at W Retreat & Spa. Following this role, Samee has also honed his skills at Amilla Fushi for over eight years. Through these years of experience, Samee managed to reach the position of Assistant Resort Manager.

With this diverse range of experience, Samee brings over 18 years of experience, knowledge and expertise to his new role as Island Chief Katheeb. Samee possesses a deep understanding of the resort’s operations and brand values. Before this role, Samee served as an Assistant Resort Manager at Oaga.

In his new position, he will be responsible for planning and organizing as well as directing and managing. These components play a key factor in ensuring alignment with the Board of Directors’ vision and contribute to the resort’s continued success.

Nazim Mohamed (Naadhu)

As Naadhu takes on this new role of Resort Manager, he brings to Oaga over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Naadhu’s career experience spans over two decades, beginning in 2002. Naadhu started out in the industry as a Guest Relations Officer, steadily climbing the ranks by demonstrating dedication and leadership qualities.

Throughout the years Naadhu has garnered diverse experiences, encompassing roles like Front Office Manager at various properties. With this knowledge, Naadhu has a deep understanding of resort operations as well as guest service excellence.

As Resort Manager, Naadhu will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and managing all resort operations. With this responsibility, Naadhu will be ensuring that Oaga delivers the exceptional experience guests look forward to.

We are delighted to promote Samee and Naadhu to these pivotal roles. Both individuals have demonstrated their commitment to Oaga’s values and vision, and we are hopeful that they will make significant contributions to the resort’s success, stated the Company Directors of Oaga Art Resort.
