Michel Politano Appointed Senior Vice President Commercial at Atmosphere Core

Hospitality group Atmosphere Core has promoted Michel Politano to Senior Vice President Commercial, giving him responsibility for leading the company’s commercial strategies across its global portfolio. In his new role, Politano leads a team of over 60 professionals and directs distribution efforts for upcoming projects and the brand’s international expansion. His promotion marks part of a broader leadership evolution that supports Atmosphere Core’s strategic ambitions.

Chief Commercial Officer Stéphane Laguette highlighted the importance of strong leadership during the company’s expansion, saying:

Originally from France, Politano launched his career in Europe before moving to Dubai, where he built a strong reputation for his expertise in distribution and sales leadership. Over the years, he restructured and strengthened both local and international sales teams, significantly boosting their efficiency and growth. Moreover, throughout his career, he has united multicultural, multifunctional teams by rallying them around common goals.

With more than 20 years of experience, Politano brings deep expertise across all areas of commercial operations — from revenue generation and digital marketing to strategic problem-solving and business development. As a result, he has earned a reputation for building agile and effective strategies in dynamic markets.

Since joining Atmosphere Core in 2022, Politano has based himself in the Maldives, where he oversees revenue management and distribution for the group’s entire portfolio. He combines sharp commercial insight with emotional intelligence, which allows him to embody the company’s culture naturally. During his time with Atmosphere Core, he has introduced new systems, streamlined processes, and, importantly, driven record-breaking revenue growth. Colleagues also praise his ability to create clarity amid complexity and to unite teams behind a shared vision.

Reflecting on his promotion, Politano said
