During a fun-filled beach event, vacationers got to play short one-on-one games with Garnier. Additionally, Garnier also pulled out some major tricks, bringing contagious energy to Kandima Maldives.

Kandima Maldives appears to be a favourite spot for Séan Garnier and his family, as this is not the first time he has stayed at this beautiful resort destination. Promoting his one-on-one game and tricks, Garnier stated that Kandima Maldive is the most beautiful island in Maldives. Even during his 2019 trip, Garnier took some time to play one-on-one matches with the resort staff in addition to partaking in the ice-bucket challenge. The ice-bucket challenge was popularised during this time, to raise awareness around amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

In addition to his stay in Kandima Maldives, Séan Garnier has also performed in the Maldives back in 2011. As the first world champion of Redbull Street Style Soccer, Garnier performed in various parts of the Maldives. This included the Greater Male’ Area, Alif Alif Atoll Rasdhoo and the Dhiraagu Road Show. During this visit, Garnier was joined by Andreas Cetkovic, Champion of France 2010.

The French-born, freestyle soccer expert embraced the urban art of freestyle football after following his ambition to become a professional footballer. Quickly finding his groove, Garnier was crowned the World champion at the first Redbull Street Style World Finals in Brazil in 2008. Since then, Garnier has been a fan-favourite when it comes to freestyle tricks.
