The artwork seen in the campaign is created by Singaporean artist collective ‘Ripple Root’. Likewise, according to St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, this artwork is inspired by the 3000+ smiling faces and heartwarming stories of Marriott International associates.

2020 has not been the easiest year for a lot of us, but there is always something or a reason that makes us smile even in unprecedented times. Today, The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort is proud to unveil “Your Smile Travels a Thousand Miles”, in effort to bring a smile as we approach the end of 2020 and look forward to a new year.⁣⁣

Oaga Art Resort Expands Artistic Horizons with Moo Ge

The space officially opened its doors on 7 January 2025. Its debut exhibition, Watercolor Journals of Nazimbe, features over 100 paintings by renowned Maldivian artist Ahmed Nazim (Nazimbe). The collection reveals Nazimbe’s shift from oil to watercolor, capturing his maritime-themed storytelling. Originally shown at the National Art Gallery in January 2024, these works now find a new home at Moo Ge. They enrich the space with vivid portrayals of Maldivian culture and the ocean’s beauty. Visitors can experience this exhibition at Suvaasthi Gallery until 21 January 2025.
