Discover the Magic of Floating Yoga at Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives

Holiday Inn Kandooma Resort

Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives has launched a refreshing new wellness activity that combines yoga with the serene beauty of the ocean. Float & Flow Yoga invites guests to enjoy a one-of-a-kind yoga session on the water, offering a perfect blend of movement, balance, and mindfulness while floating on a stand-up paddleboard (SUP).

A Unique Yoga Experience on the Water

This unique yoga experience suits everyone, whether you’re new to yoga or an experienced practitioner. Held at the resort’s specially designed SUP Yoga Dock, the 60-minute sessions take place on a platform shaped like a flower, with each “petal” holding a SUP board. The instructor guides participants through a series of gentle yoga poses, emphasizing balance, breathing, and fluid movement—all while surrounding them with the calming sounds of the sea.

According to Courtney Chambers, the resort’s resident Yoga Instructor:

“There’s nothing quite like the laughter and pure joy of SUP yoga. Whether you’re new to yoga or
a seasoned practitioner, being out on the water reminds us all to let go, have fun, and flow with
nature.”

Class Schedule and Additional Features

The Float & Flow Yoga classes take place four days a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays—at 10:00 AM. To maintain an intimate and supportive environment, the resort limits each session to only eight participants. Moreover, the class requires a minimum of three guests to run and costs $45 per person, including taxes and service charges.

For those looking to capture the beauty of the moment, guests can opt for a professional drone photo and video package, available for an additional $25 per person. These stunning aerial shots offer unforgettable mementos of the experience.

Guests should wear comfortable yoga or swim attire and arrive 10 minutes early at the Perfect Wave Surf Shop for a brief pre-session orientation.

In conclusion, whether you’re looking to unwind, improve your yoga practice, or just have some fun, Float & Flow Yoga at Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives offers an extraordinary way to connect with nature and your inner self.
