Furaveri Maldives – A Luxurious Retreat

furaveri maldives all inclusive meals
Embarking on a journey to explore the lavish landscapes of the Maldives, I eagerly anticipated the enchanting experience that awaited me at Furaveri Maldives.

With a reputation that has even captivated Bollywood celebrities like Sunny Leone, Krystle Dsouza, and Jasmin Bhasin, I couldn’t wait to share my delightful encounter at this stunning destination.

Arrival and Check-In:

The 45-minute seaplane ride to Furaveri was a scenic prelude to the wonders that awaited. Upon landing, the warm reception from the resort’s staff set the tone for an extraordinary stay. As we filled out our check-in form in the main area, we were treated to delicious coconut welcome drinks, a refreshing touch that perfectly complemented the tropical atmosphere.

Accommodation: Beach Pool Villa

Our stay at the Beach Pool Villa was nothing short of spectacular. The villa, surprisingly spacious and cosy, showcased thoughtful details catering to every need. The bathroom, a dreamy retreat, offered both indoor and outdoor shower options, along with a luxurious bathtub. The dual sinks were a thoughtful addition, allowing us to get ready simultaneously with ease. The neutral tones with a touch of yellow in the bedroom exuded luxury and relaxation. Stepping outside, our private pool and direct beach access made for unforgettable moments, including capturing the iconic clear water video and basking in the beauty of the sunset.

Dining Delights:

Opting for an all-inclusive package, our culinary journey at Furaveri was a true feast for the senses. The buffet-style meals, each day featuring a different theme, added excitement to our dining experience. From Indian idlis to Mediterranean delights, the variety of dishes was a culinary adventure. The endless dessert section was a sweet indulgence, and the resort’s commitment to providing fresh juices with every meal was a thoughtful touch appreciated by non-fizzy drink enthusiasts like us.

Entertainment:

Furaveri’s entertainment offerings were a highlight of our stay. The mesmerizing fire show surpassed expectations, earning its place as one of the best I’ve witnessed. The lively DJ night, though ending earlier due to the family-oriented atmosphere, provided a vibrant atmosphere. The packed bar area was evidence of the guests’ enthusiasm, and we thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to unwind without the usual crowd.

Right before our departure, we also managed to grab a few bikes and go on a ride around the resort. This is something I recommend to anyone going to a resort where bicycles are provided. It felt like a great way to end our trip, as we got to ride alongside the Overwater villas, where we even saw small fishes swimming in the clear blue waters.

Overall, Furaveri Maldives exceeded my expectations, offering a perfect blend of luxury, culinary delights, and captivating entertainment. I would recommend this resort for friends (like us) who want to relax and explore, or even families looking for a big resort with a great all-inclusive meal plan.

Tips for Cost-Effective Travel in the Maldives

We all want to book trips to the Maldives but oftentimes miss out on these amazing cost-effective travel tips. With these tips, you can get a really good deal on your resort stay, whether it’s a local island or a Maldives resort.

  • Booking in Advance: If you’re an avid traveller, you already know the benefits of booking in advance. When you’re coming to the Maldives, the same tip applies. Book your hotels, and resorts as well as your flight to the Maldives in advance.
  • Stay Close to the Airport: Islands like Maafushi, Thulusdhoo, and Dhiffushi are close to Malé, reducing transportation costs. Staying near the airport also means cheaper and more frequent transfer options.
  • Day Passes to Maldives Resorts: If you do a budget trip, and still want to explore resorts, look into day trips. Destinations like CROSSROADS Maldives feature day trips, where you can explore the luxury resort side of the Maldives. In addition to dining, you can shop for souvenirs, and have a pool or a beach day.
  • Booking the Maldives off-Season: Rainy season and vacation might sound scary. But when it comes to the Maldives, you’ll still get lots of sunshine during the off-season. You will, however, get a more cost-effective trip!
