Indian celebrities have been flocking to the Maldives since destinations closed down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although the restrictions have been lifted since it appears that Indian celebrities still love their getaway trip to the Maldives. While some celebrities make multiple trips a year, others have only explored the destination for the first time recently. In addition to Bollywood celebrities, Hollywood celebrities also visit the Maldives for their tropical getaways. Everyone from the royal family to upcoming actors has been spotted in the Maldives through the years, so here are the celebrities who have recently made a trip to the sunny side of life.

01. Akshay Kumar & Twinkle Khanna

Twinkle Khanna and her husband Akshay Kumar and their kids kids Aarav and Nitara celebrated their new year 2024 in the Maldives. The pair shared a video on Instagram showcasing a glimpse into their fun-loving family vacation at Soneva Jani Maldives.

02. Ananya Panday

Bollywood sweetheart Ananya Panday celebrated her 25th birthday in the Maldives towards the end of 2023. Just like Akshay and his family, Ananya also chose to celebrate her Maldives getaway in the beautiful Soneva Jani resort.

03. Taapse Pannu

Indian actress Taapse Pannu, best known for her role in ‘Dunki’ was also spotted in the Maldives. Taapsi shared her stay at OZEN RESERVE Bolifushi, stating the sunsets look this beautiful hardly elsewhere.

04. Pooja Hegde

Avid social media enthusiast and Indian actress Pooja Hedge also took a trip to the Maldives towards the end of 2023 to celebrate her 33rd birthday in style. The actress took her birthday celebrations super seriously last year, booking her stay at the Hilton Maldives Amingiri resort!

05. Vijay Varma

Last November, famous Indian actor Vijay Varma shared glimpses into his Maldives vacation, and fans suspected the photos were clicked by Tamannaah Bhatia. Since his vacation in the Maldives, fans have got a glimpse of the actor’s amazing work yet again on the Netflix movie, Murder Mubarak.

06. Parineeti Chopra

Patineeti was spotted in Waldorf Astoria Maldives on a little girls’ trip, in October of 2023. She took to Instagram to share the photos of her in yellow swimwear and chooras (bangles), noting that it was not her honeymoon!

07. Shanaya Kapoor

Fushifaru Maldives hosted Bollywood actress Shanaya Kapoor towards the end of 2023 for a Maldives getaway as well. This trip was following her debut role in Karan Johar’s ‘Bedhadak’ alongside Lakshya and Gurfateh Pirzada.

08. Sonnalli Seygall

Sonnalli Seygall and her husband and restauranter Ashesh L Sajnani took a trip to the Maldives for their honeymoon in 2023 as well. Their 5-day honeymoon trip at Villa Nautica, formerly known as Paradise Island featured some beautiful shots at the pool!

The culinary journey begins in the intimate Wine Room at Aailaa. This space boasts an impressive collection of over 300 wine labels and more than 1,600 bottles. Guests will explore a world-class selection from both old and new wine regions. Chef Dmitrii will craft a memorable four-course dinner, featuring standout dishes such as crispy chicken with watermelon and soy sprouts, octopus in black pepper sauce, and his signature honey cake with blackcurrant sorbet. Each dish will pair with wines selected by the resort’s sommelier, enhancing the overall experience. During the event, Chef Dmitrii will also share insights into the rich legacy of Maison Dellos, offering a deeper understanding of its cultural significance and the artistry behind the group’s culinary approach.

March 24, 2025: Culinary Voyage at RIHA

For a truly unforgettable experience, six guests will dine under the stars at RIHA. A sunken outdoor Tandoor & Tawa will set the stage for a unique celebration of live-fire cooking. Surrounded by the resort’s natural beauty, tiki torches lighting the evening, and a panoramic view of the sunset, diners will savor a fusion of Indian and other Asian culinary influences. March 26, 2025: The Essence of Japan at Hashi/Shio

The event’s final day will take place at Hashi, the resort’s exquisite Japanese restaurant over the water. Chef Dmitrii will present a five-course meal that captures the essence of Japanese cuisine through a modern lens. Guests will enjoy a refined cold appetizer of crab, black caviar, and ginger sauce, followed by hot lamb loin with baked leeks—a creative twist on classic flavors. This dining experience promises to be a highlight of the event, showcasing Chef Dmitrii’s innovative approach to Japanese cooking.

A Culinary Vision: Chef Dmitrii Eremeev’s Journey and Expertise

A native of Baku, Azerbaijan, Chef Dmitrii began his culinary career at the prestigious “Yar” restaurant. He joined Maison Dellos in 2000, quickly rising to the role of Head Chef in 2008. Throughout his career, Chef Eremeev has represented Azerbaijan at the Cannes International Gastronomic Festival. He also played a key role in launching the Dellos Diet at Turandot. Additionally, Chef Dmitrii has catered for high-profile events such as the 2017 Confederations Cup, the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, and the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Chef Dmitrii Eremeev is recognized for his bold yet refined culinary style. He blends Pan-Asian and Classic European flavors with a modern twist. His dishes create a harmonious fusion of vibrant spices, delicate textures, and refined presentation. Guests at the event will experience a diverse range of dishes.
