Pullman Maldives Launches Fitness Programme infused with Maldivian Energy

Pullman Maldives has introduced unique fitness programmes inspired by the Maldivian traditions and culture. From 01st January 2020 till 09th January 2020, guests can take part in the nine day programme for an overall holistic experience. 

These bootcamp-style beach workout is called ‘Raaveriya’, which in the local language means ‘a man collecting toddy from a palm tree’. Infused with high-energy, intense moves of ‘boduberu’, a traditional Maldivian dance, the Raaveriya workout concludes with a local drink of toddy to ensure the guests are rejuvenated as well as re-hydrated. 

With Sarah Hoey leading the programme, will be sharing her skills and knowledge through the exciting lineup of fitness and wellness programmes infused with Maldivian activities. 

Guests can enjoy relaxing yoga sessions during sunrise and sunset for the entire week, and to take it even better, a ‘floating yoga’ session will also be available where the guests will be doing yoga on top of a boat in the middle of the ocean.  

Pullman also offers cardio classes with Body Combad and Zumba, from sessions in the water with ‘Pool Zumba’ to sessions by the pristine beaches with ‘Beach Zumba’. Fat burn classes, bum lift, flat abs workout, ABS pilates and circuit training are some other workouts available for guests to take part in.
